Theatretrain Hitchin is a part time Drama School that provides professional drama classes, dance classes and singing classes for young people aged 6-18yrs.
Our classes are designed to build confidence, social skills and are lots of fun
We have 3 age groups, 6-9, 9-12 and 13-18
and each group gets 1 hour of Dance, Drama and Singing
For over two decades we've championed an exhilarating approach to theatre school education in the theatrical arts for young people aged 6-18.
We teach our children how to dance, act and sing in performing arts classes at Acland Burghley School.
We create amazing opportunities for our stage school students to perform on stage
in local, regional and world famous West End venues.
Our Stage school brings out the best in students, builds confidence,
and gives aspiring young actors opportunities of a lifetime via our performing arts sessions.

My Daughter loves it
My daughter has been going to Theatretrain for three years now and she loves it! Geraldine is really passionate about giving every child their voice and their chance to shine! The group is super friendly and everyone is put at their ease, whilst being given many opportunities to step out of their comfort zone. My daughter started Theatretrain at a time when she had very low self-esteem and no confidence. We chose Theatretrain for her as we felt it would give her an opportunity to engage in an activity which would promote individuality with no right or wrong way of doing things. The performances she has been involved in have been so professional and inclusive and we have noticed a huge difference in her. My boys Absolutely Love it
Our boys only started with Theatretrain at the beginning of this term but already they have grown as performers and its given them another level to their bond as brothers too. They absolutely love every lesson and always drive home singing the songs they've been taught.
Good place to make friends and grow in confidence
Our daughter has been a student at Theatretrain for nearly 8 years. She loves going every week and has had lots of opportunities to perform including at the Royal Albert Hall, Sadlers Wells and last year in Disneyland Paris. Not only has she made some very good friends but also parents have become friends. Her confidence has grown so much over the years and thanks to her love of performing arts she has now started her GCSE courses in Music and Drama. Thanks to Theatretrain for making her the confident young lady that she has become.
